How to register at Irene AC for 2018
Registrations for 2018 Open
All members who register for 2018 will be required to submit a signed ASA registration form at the club in order to receive a 2018 licence number.
The ASA website is unfortunately not programmed to handle any registrations at this stage.
Despite this, members can register in one of the following ways:
Members without internet access:
On-line registrations:
Please follow the steps below very carefully; we expect more than 750 registrations and one email with all your details will ensure successful registration.
(Please remember that we do not accept cash payments for safety reasons.)
The first 500 members get free T-shirts!
Membership fees for 2018 (please note that the fees are pro-rated if you join from June 2018 onwards):

- Send your proof of payment together with the attached ASA form (completed and signed). Our admin manager will then complete the form on the website on your behalf once it is programmed for 2018. (The forms can also be submitted at the club house)
- Send your proof of payment only. You can then complete the form on the website yourself once it has been programmed for 2018, print it, sign it and submit it to the club.
- Hard copies of the form will also be available at the admin counter from this Tuesday.
Members without internet access:
- Only a handful of Irene members do not have internet access. If you know of these members, kindly assist them if you have internet access (please) or print the special form for this purpose.
- If you cannot be assisted by someone with internet access, please complete the form and bring it to the club on Tuesdays with the proof of payment (no cash) and the registration parcel will be ready the following Tuesday.

Steps to register on-line:
- Determine how much your membership fees for 2017 on the above table will be. Add the amount for the family together.
- After you have determined the membership fees, pay the full amount into the Irene bank account:

3. Email the proof of payment to yourself. Alternatively, please pay the cash amount into the bank account and scan the deposit slip and email
it to yourself.
4. Social members must also email me the special form for this purpose.
5. After making the payment, go to the following website: http://asa.saclubs.co.za.
5.1 If you were registered on the ASA website in 2016, just log in and update your details and save. Skip step 5.2 & step 5.3 and go to step 6.
5.2 If you were register at another club in 2016, contact your club first and ask them to ‘transfer’ you first. After this is done, chose Irene AC as your club
and proceed to step 5.3.
5.3 If you are a new member, continue with the steps below.
6. After your registration/update on the ASA website, forward your proof of payment to [email protected] together with the following information:
8. The club will allocate a licence bib to you. You can collect your registration parcel (licence number, entrance disk and receipt) the following Tuesday at the
club house from 17h20 – 19h00, if you have registered and sent your proof of payment by the Thursday of the previous week. Uncollected registration parcels
will be kept for collection on any Tuesday at the club house. A map to our clubhouse can be found on our Visit Us page.
9. Please do not worry if the ASA website is not updated immediately with your licence number. This will take a bit of time. If I have acknowledged your email
and you did not receive any other query from me, you will be allocated a licence number and you will be registered on the club’s member list.
Club clothes can be bought at the shop situated in the club house. The shop is open from 16h00 – 19h00 on Tuesdays. Please DO NOT deposit money for club clothes into the Irene bank account. The shop has credit card facilities and you can also pay cash.

- Click on “Register Now”. Read the disclaimer and agree to it.
- Enter your ID-number (or passport number) and select the correct type. SA Citizens must register with an ID-number. Verify your ID-number. If it is a valid ID-number, you will be directed to a data sheet.
- Enter all the relevant fields and choose for yourself a password. All fields are compulsory and you must have a valid e-mail address.
- After validation you will be directed to a new screen.
- Club Details: First select your Province (AGN – Athletics Gauteng North) and then the club (Irene AC) that you would like to join.
- Duties: Choose as what you would like to register. It can be 1, 2, 3 or all 4 fields.
- Discipline: Choose your discipline. It can be one or more.
- Personal Details: If applicable, add any of the open fields. These are not compulsory fields.
- Address: A residential address is compulsory. If your postal address is not the same as your residential address, un-click the box and add your postal address.
- Contact: At least a home or cell phone is compulsory.
- Emergency: At least one emergency contact person with a contact number is compulsory. If you do have a medical aid, select Yes and a screen for the detail will be displayed.
- Click on “Save” and if all compulsory fields are valid, you will receive a message “Successfully updated”. Under Club Details your preferred club will be listed and the Current Club Status will be “Pending”.
- The system will automatically send an e-mail club to notify us of your application, but we cannot register you, if we do not receive your emailed proof of payment.
6. After your registration/update on the ASA website, forward your proof of payment to [email protected] together with the following information:
- Your t-shirt size
- If you are a new member (was not registered in 2016), please also mention that in your email to me.
