Pre-entries now closed. LIMITED LATE ENTRIES will be sold on Friday 7 November 2014 from the Irene Club House and on SATURDAY morning 8 November 2014 at the START before the race.
The Liquifruit Irene Race is the third and final leg of the 2014 Irene Triple Challenge. The other legs are the Spar Irene Lantern 10km on 12 February and the Clover Irene Spring Run 21km on 20 September. Entrants for the Triple Challenge, who complete all three races in 2014, will again receive a high quality T-shirt and a special shield to fit all three medals.
Bring the whole family to join the Irene Athletic Club and 5500 enthusiasts as they run/walk along the tranquil streets of Southdowns, the Irene Dairy Farm and Irene Golf Course. Farm animals can be seen along the route. There just isn't any other race like this!!
Run on gravel roads, this is a race of moderate difficulty through the Agricultural Research Council’s Irene Farm, Irene Dairy Farm and around the scenic, Irene Golf Course.
Unique Fact: Since 1994, the 21.1km & 10km races have been attracting a large number of entrants. The 2012 event saw a record number of 5,500 finishers.
Medals will be awarded to all finisher and prizes to category winners. There will also be spot prizes.
